The Florence-based fashion brand AVAVAV is no stranger to making bold statements, consistently capturing the spotlight with its runway shows, daring concepts, surprise brand activations, and intentionally eccentric footwear and apparel. Beate Karlsson's brand unveiled this adidas Superstar in early 2024, made truly unique by the "Superfingers" accessory. As we’ve come to expect from brands like MSCHF and Bravest, the AVAVAV Superstar is a completely unconventional reimagining. The brand's signature four-finger motif appears as a detachable accessory at the front of the shoe – which can even double as a handbag. The sneaker comes in two colorways: a cream shade with red accents and a black-cream combination. Both versions feature a leather upper, embossed "SUPERSTAR" lettering along the quarter stripes, and adidas x AVAVAV branding on the tongue and heel.
