    From a sustainability perspective, Earth Day each year is a key time for brands to shine a spotlight on their environmental efforts. Previously, adidas collaborated with MLS and Parley to create limited-edition eco-friendly jerseys for this occasion. In 2023, adidas reimagined two iconic models, the Superstar and Stan Smith, using sustainable materials. This Superstar model features a soft, brown hemp upper, providing a natural look. The monochrome design is broken up by crochet-style details on the three stripes in white, yellow, green, and burgundy shades, paying homage to the counterculture of the ‘70s. It is completed with organic cotton laces, further enhancing the natural aesthetic.
