Adidas Superstar - Conchas Icy Pink

Over the years, adidas has introduced numerous models in creative designs. For its latest playful release, the Three Stripes drew inspiration from Mexico, creating three "shell-toe" sneakers inspired by the famous "concha" pastries. This model pays tribute to the pan dulce (sweet bread) found on metal trays in Mexican bakeries, taking its name from the Spanish word "concha" (shell). The iconic flavors of the pastry—strawberry, vanilla, and chocolate—are reflected in the shoe's colorways: "Icy Pink," "Wonder White," and "Cardboard." All three adidas Originals models are primarily made of terry cloth, giving them a cohesive look. The three stripes on the side of each shoe feature a darker shade of the chosen color. However, the most iconic detail of this special edition is found on the toe box: the "conchapatos" sneakers feature a crust-like texture at the front, faithfully replicating the distinctive appearance of conchas Mexicanas. Finally, the outsole retains its classic design while incorporating additional references to the flavors mentioned above.
