Adidas Superstar X Taegeukdang
Adidas Strengthens Global Presence with Unique Collaborations in New Campaign. Aidas continues to strengthen its international presence through specialized departments and global partnerships. In its relatively new campaign, the brand collaborates with 11 iconic restaurants worldwide to tell STORIES through classic adidas silhouettes. As part of the “adilicious” program, partners include Japan's Bloody Angle restaurant and the Ravi Restaurant in the United Arab Emirates. This time, adidas drew inspiration from TAEGEUKDANG, Seoul's oldest bakery. Using the beloved adidas Superstar model, Taegeukdang incorporated a simple yet classic color palette of white, off-white, and black. However, the design also includes several references to the bakery. For instance, the transparent outsole features a graphic of the bakery’s facade. Additionally, the black stripes on the shoe’s side are covered with a removable white layer, which includes a pull tab. When removed, the stripes reveal the gold "SEOUL" inscription, referring to the bakery’s location. Other Korean motifs embellish the tongue and heel of the shoe, completing the design. The launch took place at TAEGEUKDANG in Seoul, where customers had the exclusive chance to order the shoes.
